Larne Lights Up
Purple Events Company provided the Event Management, Publicity and Marketing for this Community Celebration Concert, hosted by a relatively new forum, Larne Churches Consultative Committee. This event was funded by North East PEACE III Partnership and stipulated specific guidelines to ensure that the Funding Requirements were met. Purple Events worked closely with the client to create a Variety Concert to showcase the cross community spirit of the area, both within a set timeframe and budget.

Rock 'n' Roll Revival
The Esler Burke Band reformed for this very special tribute Stageshow accompanied by the amazing talents of Purple Events' stalwarts Zolene and Ziqh Mayberry. The stage show was a sell out and successfully recreated Cliff Richard's amazing show named "The Event".
This show can easily be adapted to celebrate the history of your local area or community using your photographs and your local representatives. Mixed with Rock n Roll and Jive dance demonstrations, themed set on stage, diner girls and an audio-visual presentation. Purple events can work with local heritage and historical groups to recreate authentic memories of this fabulous era.

Soldiers, Supper & Swing ... a war-time inspired stage show
A celebration of the memories surrounding the First and Second World Wars. A fabulously realistic presentation by Trenchline Lecture Company including regimental march, battle reenactment, wartime poetry, piper and ceremonial display. Live swing Music by ALS Band and a wartime inspired supper in a cardboard box, featuring genuine props and yarns from your area's wartime era. This event was a sell out and attracted the attention and coverage of both the BBC and Radio Ulster live on the night!!

Celebrate everything we loved about the Fifties! This Fabulous Show includes Smash Musicals and hits from that golden era performed live by Zolene and ALS Band . Members of your Drama Circle can portray working class life in your area using short sketches. School performing dance studentscan also take to the stage. Local historians can present an audiovisual of photographs submitted by the local community. Genuine 50's Props and A Hall of Fame presentation using locally submitted Dresses keep the 50's theme alive throughout the night!
If you love Perry Como, Ruby Murray, Doris Day, Cliff Richard and more then this is a night you should consider, using your local community contacts to make it as authentic as possible It was so successful in Larne that the show run again in December with a Christmas twist.
Purple Events Company at Ballyearl Theatre
Newtownabbey Borough Council hosted a "Fabulous Fifties" evening in December 2009 for the Ballyearl Music Club. An evening of forgotten folklore, International Storytelling, themed music and theatrical dance performance. Haunted scenes, ghostly costumes, apple pies and spooky sound effects, providing an evening of light hearted entertainment.A Storytelling Festival
A celebration of the most traditional form of entertainment. Billy Teare know as "The Storytellin Man", a resident teller at the Tennessee Storytelling Festival in the USA can amuse the audience with his wit and his wisdom. Purple Events can source other local yarnspinners to recount local myths and legends . This style of entertainment can be supplemented by local songs and school playground rhymes from yesteryear.
Country Music Concert
The Purple Events Company are able to present a fantastic Country Music Gala Concert at your venue. Featuring a choice from Downtown Radio's very own Warren Smyth, Fiddler Adam, one of Ireland's best fiddler players and Donna Duffin providing a softer voice to the line-up. Leonard Shields, a great country comedian can compliment the evening, with some lighthearted jokes and naughty yarns….
